Why Cloth?
Why cloth? Why not?
They’re less expensive than disposables, even more comfortable, environmentally friendly, easy to use, and they look great!
Today’s cloth diapers are not your grandmother’s or even your mother’s cloth diapers. They are smaller, made of better fabric, no pins, and are easier than ever to launder and dry. It takes less time to throw a load of diapers into the washer than it does to run to the store when you run out– and you know that does happen! Don’t even worry about the mess, as flushable biodegradable liners make things even easier.
Another important consideration is this: It costs, on average, $1500.00 to $3000.00 for disposable diapers for the diapering life of one child. On the other hand, cloth can cost you from $400.00 to $1200.00 and most will last for 2 or more children. That’s considerably less than the disposables , even if you factor in the cost of laundering. So it makes financial sense to at least explore the possibility.
And with each child being diapered thousands of times it’s easy to imagine how much waste you can prevent by switching to cloth. That means less junk in the landfills.
Remember, we all want our babies to feel comfy and dry, and cloth is by far the most comfortable. And on a tighter budget, it’ll make your wallet feel good too.
It’s a smart choice!
